Out and about today mountain biking I decided to have a pre season look at Poolburn. Nice frosty start to the day. No ice on the main reservoir but after a bit of hunting around I managed to find a bit of skate able ice on the stream tucked in under a cliff. Glad I threw the skates in on the off chance. Not much sign of ice any where else.
